On 23 August 2012, the OFT published a Short-form Opinion that it has prepared at the request of the National Farmer's Union and the Country Land and Business Association to provide guidance as to the application of competition law to a proposal to recommend a reference rate for the grant of wayleaves for broadband in rural areas.
