GP carrying out freelance work for private clinic was a worker (CA)

In The Hospital Medical Group Ltd v Westwood [2012] EwCA Civ 1005, the Court of Appeal has upheld a tribunal's decision that a GP, working as a self-employed independent contractor providing services to a private clinic, was a worker for the purposes of section 230(3) of the Employment Rights Act 1996.
