Regulation / Care Act Do individual carers and/or managers of direct payments have any obligation to register with the CQC? What are the registration requirements for individual carers? Is there any check and balance on unpaid carers? Regarding managers of direct payments, there any check and balance given they may have a complex role as employer, particularly when they are responsible for employing staff for more than one adult with care and support needs?
