In Global Assets Advisory Services Ltd & Another v Grandlane Developments Ltd & Others [2019] EWHC Civ 1764, the Court of Appeal held that the court does have jurisdiction to order an interim payment on account of costs pursuant to CPR 44.2(8), where a Part 36 offer has been accepted within the relevant period.
