Supreme Court dismisses appeal in Singularis v Daiwa

In Singularis Holdings Ltd v Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd [2019] UKSC 50 (30 October 2019), the Supreme Court dismissed an attempt to defeat a claim of a breach of the Quincecare duty of care on the grounds that the fraud of a dominant individual at a company should be attributed to the company itself.
