EDPB publishes Guidelines on Codes of Conduct as tools for transfers

The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has published the final version of Guidelines 04/2021 on Codes of Conduct as tools for transfers which it adopted at its 61st plenary meeting on 22 February 2022, following public consultation. They provide guidance on the use by a controller or processor of a code of conduct adopted in accordance with Article 40, as an appropriate safeguarding measure for international transfers of personal data.
