A set of standard contractual clauses for personal data transfers between controllers and processors within the European Economic Area (EEA) as set out in Commission Implementing Decision 2021/915 and Annex on standard contractual clauses between controllers and processors under Article 28(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Article 29(7) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725. These clauses enable organizations to meet their General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (GDPR) Article 28 obligations using standardized terms, however are not mandatory.
