Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Bill introduced into Parliament (consumer law aspects)

On 25 April 2023, the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Bill was introduced into Parliament. The Bill will give the CMA significant powers to enforce consumer laws directly for the first time. It also introduces new measures to tackle subscription traps and fake reviews. This update covers the provisions in the Bill relating to consumer protection law.
