Deadline for responding to Ministry of Justice’s consultation on mechanism for surrendering unclaimed balances paid into Court Funds Office

The deadline for responding to the Ministry of Justice’s consultation on how the Accountant General of the Senior Courts will manage the process of applying a time limit on funds paid into the Court Funds Office (CFO) for civil claims which remain unclaimed for 30 years or more and returning the funds to the Exchequer is 11.59 pm today.

The consultation is aimed at CFO users, court and tribunal users, the judiciary, heir hunter firms and members of the public.
